MISSION STATEMENT

 

 

"The Mission of the Hayworth Hoops Basketball League is to help develop student-athlete's fundamental basketball skills, character traits and knowledge of the game, while promoting the great game of basketball."

 

The Hayworth Hoops Basketball League plans to accomplish this mission by:

 

  • Creating an atmosphere that allows players to participate in numerous games.
  • Teaching the concepts of responsibility, punctuality and teamwork.
  • Giving young athletes an overall knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of basketball.
  • Creating an atmosphere that allows student-athletes to play against a wide range of competition.
  • Teaching student-athletes how to win and how to deal with loss
  • Promoting having fun playing basketball while improving fundamental skills and developing a passion for the game.
  • Helping the student-athletes gain skills to use at the high school level.
